About: Soldier Creek Campground at an elevation of 7,200 feet, is adjacent to Strawberry Reservoir, and offers beautiful panoramic views of the reservoir and surrounding valley. The setting is rolling hills of sagebrush, young pine trees, and a stand of aspens.

Popular activities at Soldier Creek include fishing for Rainbow trout, Cutthroat trout, and Kokanee salmon, boating, water skiing, canoeing, hiking, and biking.

Soldier Creek Day Use area is within 1/4 mile of campground loops and offers a boat ramp, marina, boat rental, small general store, and fish cleaning station. Nearby, 75 miles of trails run through the Strawberry OHV Trail System, and numerous, extensive mountain biking trails are in the area. Strawberry Visitor Center has interpretive displays, a working fish trap and egg collection station, and a nature trail.

Camping spurs are between 50-75 feet apart.

Loop A has nice shade from pines and aspens in the area, and has some sites with covered picnic tables.

Loops B, C, and D are nearest the reservoir but have no shade.

Picnic tables in B, C, and D are covered and most have privacy/wind screens.

Soldier Creek has one group site that can accommodate up to 100 people, and has a pavilion but no electricity.

Directions: From Heber City, Utah, take Highway 40 east for 32 miles to Soldier Creek exit, then 2 miles south to Soldier Creek Campground.
