About: Michigamme Shores Campground is one of the top-rated campground resorts in Michigan's Upper Peninsula in the heart of moose country. Open from May 1st through October 15th, we are located on Lake Michigamme two and one-half miles west of Champion on U.S. Hwy 41 West. Pull through, full hook-up, tenting and cabin sites are complemented by our full-service camp store, modern restrooms, laundry facility and recreational activity areas.
