Fernwood campground is home to a rare Albino Redwood tree. Hiking in Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park is as easy as crossing the boundary located at the southern edge of Fernwood Campground. Fernwood Tavern hosts music every weekend featuring local and touring bands.

Nice place
Private campground. Great location right on the Big Sur River, decent fishing and nice shower facilities. Pets OK. I would recommend it.
