About: Quiet, secure campground centrally located near famous Calaveras wineries, annual FROG JUMPING JUBILEE, exciting caverns, championship golf courses, great fishing at one of the largest lakes in the entire state (New Melones), amidst numerous scattered historical gold rush towns, Bear Valley, Big Trees National Park, near Yosemite National park, history galore and much more.
Directions:
From the South: Interstate 5 or US 99 North to Manteca East on Highway 120 to Oakdale. Left (going east) on Highway 120, at traffic light (clock tower on right) Stay on Highway 120 to downtown Sonora, turn left at âTâ on Washington St/Highway 49 Continue North on 49. Go about 11 miles to bridge over New Melones Lake. Another curvy 4 miles and we are on the RIGHT (before blue and white storage units).
From the North: Interstate 5 or US 99 South to Lodi. East on Highway 12 to San Andreas. Right (south) on Highway 49, through Old Town Angels Camp. Stay on Highway 49. We are 2 miles south of stone bridge âYâ Glory Hole Texico station will be on the right. Entrance to resort is 500 further on the left.

Found a winner!
Very friendly staff, clean campground. Enjoyed the golf in the area as well as the wineries. Next visit I plan to do some fishing at the lake nearby. Would recommend this campground.
