We are located in the midst of acres of state parks, freshwater lakes and rivers, and the beautiful outdoors. Whether you are a biker,boater, golfer, hunter, fisherman or nature lover, our area offers a variety of activities for everyone.
Purchased from Ray and Carla Kempen in 2003, Jeri, Orv and Todd Rasmussen began the journey of bringing the already great campground to a new level of readiness for the new millenium of camping. We continue the tradition of cleanliness and beauty throughout the park and have made upgrades to keep up with the times. Among the many updates we offer Free WI-FI at every site.
Frontier offers family camping at its best. Children of all ages will find plenty to do or be able to just relax if that’s what you came to do.
Our friendly staff is more than happy to help you plan activities outside of the campground as well, allowing you to enjoy all that Door County has to offer.
Todd recently purchased Frontier Wilderness from Jeri and Orv. He will continue the legacy of keeping our many repeat guests happy and coming back as well as turning new guests into repeat customers.
