If you are looking for a family campground in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, this is the perfect camping place for you.
Easy off/on access from I-81, exit 257 (follow the signs). We are only 3½ miles from the Interstate. This KOA has long, level pull-through sites with ample space for even the biggest of rigs. Enjoy our seasonal heated pool, catch "the big one" in our stocked pond or explore our mountain-biking/hiking trail that leads into the George Washington National Forest. Visit our camp store for snacks, supplies and fun gifts. Enjoy the free 9 hole mini-golf, ping pong, horseshoes, basketball, playground, tether-ball court, game room and large pet run. In season we have theme weekends, fun planned activities, and "HEY" rides. Don’t miss the ice cream socials, pancake breakfasts and nightly family movies. Order a pizza in the office and we deliver it hot and fresh to your site!
A short drive brings you to Skyline Drive, wineries, antiques, caverns, Civil War battlefields, canoeing, Massanutten Ski Resort/Indoor Water Park and James Madison University. We have a primitive tent section with sites away from everything, a large group tenting area and a family tenting section near the pool, playground and facilities. Our Camping Cabins offer air conditioning/heat, dorm fridge and a microwave to offer you a chance to kick back and relax in a comfortable, yet rustic atmosphere. Stay connected with friends and family with WI-FI. We have a full service camp store, ATM machine, propane, firewood, 24-hour laundry, and immaculate bathrooms. Please call early to make reservations for Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day Weekend.
From I-81 Exit 257, take 11N 1/10 mile.
Right turn onto Route 608 (Mauzy-Athlone Rd)
Continue on Route 608 for 4 miles.
Drive forward into our driveway at the end of the road.
Remember, if you use our street address in your GPS you have a 50/50 chance of ending up down a dirt road from which you will be backing out!
