Take a guided tour of Washington D.C. from Fredericksburg, or ride Metro or VRE to within walking distance of DC’s attractions. Civil War buffs have a field day near this quiet countryside spot in the woods. Four of the war’s most historic battles were fought here. Marked paths and roadways, audiovisual aids and tours help fill in the details as you walk or drive along the battlefields. Visit Fredericksburg, George Washington’s boyhood home, and tour inside original buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries. Kings Dominion Amusement/ Water Park, championship golf courses and lots of great restaurants and shopping lie within a short drive. So come and check in for some history. Located midway between two I-95 exits. If traveling southbound take Exit 126, south 4 miles on US 1, left 607. Northbound Exit 118, left to US 1, north 4 miles on US 1, right on 607. We are located 2.5 miles south on 607.
