Spearfich City campground
For any one traveling through this would be a good stop,or to stay a while.We used it for the night.Quiet with grass sites near the stream/river.Showers and restrooms were nice and clean.This city campground gets a lot of use.After the season closure 30th Sept I think,you can still stay there but no hookups and you are on the honor system to pay the usage fee.The Spearfish river runs through the camp and is listed as one of the best trout streams in the state.There is a hatchery with tours near the camp.An easy walk into town with good restaurants.
