Big Stone Lake provides the setting for this popular camping and picnic area nestled in the shade of a native wooded forest.

Along the many hiking trails, you can observe wildlife, prairie plants and scenic vistas.

Camping: 43 sites (36 electrical). One wheelchair accessible site. Six tent-only sites. Showers. Water. Dump station

Recreation: Camping. Cabins. Boating. Nine-hole disc golf course. Fishing. Hiking. Historic interest. Horseshoes. Wheelchair accessible picnic shelter. Picnic area. Warming shelter. Playground. Swimming. Volleyball.

Swimming: Swimming beach. No lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk.

Fishing/Boating: Fish cleaning station. Boat ramp. Accessible fishing dock. Lake well-known for its walleye. Both SD and MN fishing licenses honored. License required.
