Richmond Lake Recreation Area's small campground offers a quiet camping experience. The park also features a wheelchair accessible camping cabin, which provides a comfortable camping facility for less-rugged campers.

The park's extensive trail system features over 10 miles of trails, including both accessible and interpretive trails. Hikers, bikers and horseback riders can observe the abundance of prairie plants and wildlife of the area up-close. When the snow flies, cross-country skiers and snowmobilers can thaw out in the park's warming shelter.

Recreation: Camping Cabins. Biking. Boating. Cross-country skiing. 18-hole disc golf course. Fishing. Hiking. Horse trail. Two picnic shelters. Warming shelter. Playground. Near snowmobile trail. Swimming. Volleyball. Sledding area. Wildlife viewing.

Swimming/Beaches: Swimming beach. No lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk.

Fishing/Boating: Boat ramps. Accessible fishing dock. Walleye, northern pike, bass, perch, crappie, bluegill, catfish, bullheads. Entrance License required.
