Never again.
Nothing nice to say about this place, too much to mention in one review. Doesn't look like the website at all. Site we requested on the lake didn't happen. Owner claimed she could put you wherever she wanted to. Overall looks dirty and neglected. Bathrooms are old and filthy. Pool and mini golf is run down. The slip and slide is a giant canvas, maybe from an old billboard sign that they put dishwashing detergent on for everyone to slide down. Everyone jumps in the pool to wash off when they are done with it. ...
This is a nice campground with many activities for all. The owners are polite and are making many improvements. Some of the campers that were staying here in the past are leaving because they do not feel that the new rules apply to them. That happens in campgrounds when there are new owners. The owners and staff are polite and are constantly making improvements. The pool is now heated and there is great catch and release fishing in the pond. Weekends are full of events and activities for everyone. This is a very nice and safe place to camp.
First, let me say this is a beautiful campground, especially if you camp on the lake sites. This used to be a nice campground where we camped at on holidays. But the new owners should not be in the campground business. The sites have not be leveled in a couple of years. There is no escourt to your site to make sure you can get in (some of them are hard to get in to). There used to be garbage pickup and wood delivery, but not anymore. You have to do that on your own. ...
