Beachside State park is just a few miles south of Waldport on the Central Oregon coast. Beachside caters to tents more than other parks in the area with over half of the sites being tent specific. Two yurts are available but are very popular – reservations well in advance are recommended. Showers are available.

In addition to miles of pristine beach, Beachside State Park is centrally located to many of the Oregon coasts most popular attractions. The port town of Newport is north of the park and has many attractions for all ages. Campers will also enjoy the spectacular scenery and hiking trails of Cape Perpetua, just a short drive south of the park.
