Beverly Beach State Park is a large and busy park just north of Newport on the Central Oregon coast. The beach is a short walk from the campground on paved trails. The park has 21 Yurts which are extremely popular - reservations well in advance are recommended.
There are numerous attractions close to Beverly Beach State Park. Newport, the Oregon Coast Aquarium, Yaquina Head, the Yaquina Bay Bridge, and the Rogue Brewery are just a few of a long list of places to visit in the Newport area. Campers should plan on spending at least a couple days in this premier area of the Oregon coast.

This is a Dark, Crowded Park
This densely forested park reminds me of a dark labyrinth from a childrens book. The campsites are small and tightly spaced and privacy is scarce as it seems people are always walking by on the way to the beach or bathroom. Don't plan on seeing the sun in your campsite while staying here. I much preferred South Beach State Park south of Newport.
