Since 1977 Howard Prairie Resort in Southern Oregon near Ashland has been rated the best recreation facility of its kind in Oregon. It's waters teaming with both trout and bass. One thing hard to find here are mosquitoes!

We've created a recreation area that is clean, safe, and friendly. Vacationers are so delighted to discover a true ambiance of natural camping with spacious tall tree covered sites, versus many "parking lot" style campgrounds you see so often. We have sites ranging from tent to large RV sites with full hook-ups, a store and restaurant, laundry facilities, and a full-service boat marina. We also have a large picnic area great for large reunions and company picnics.

There is boating fun of all forms, from canoeing to water skiing and sailing, with 6 miles to navigate! We're home for the Rogue Yacht Club who hosts a great regatta every year. Come join the fun everyone!
