escape the heat
This is a nice place to escape the summer heat. Open from May 15th to September 15th. The fees are a little high. $ 15 for Camping or Picnicking, $ 8 for an additional car, without any electricity and/or water. There's only one water spigot near the entrance.
However the campground host is not so nice: My daughter visited me for a BBQ and had to pay the 8 Dollar fee, because they stayed 'over 1 hour'! They did not stay overnight nor used an extra camp spot. This is ridiciulous.
