Directions: DeWayne Hayes Recreation Area is just north of Columbus, Mississippi on Columbus Lake of the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway. From U.S. Highway 45, go 4 miles north of Columbus, turn on Hwy 50 W/Hwy 373 N. Stay on Hwy 373 for 1.5 miles, then turn left on Stinson Creek Rd for 1.8 miles and left again on Barton Ferry Road. The entrance to the park is about 1/2 mile on the left.
