About: The campground is considered “primitive,” designed to furnish only the basic needs of the camper. The campsites consist of a cleared area, fire ring, and table. In addition, vault toilets, garbage cans, and drinking water are available. Two designated accessible parking spaces are located in the campground. Parking space is 14 feet wide.

All sites are on a first-come, first-served basis for a fee.

If you’re looking to combine a great camping experience with horseback riding or snowmobiling, Ann Lake Campground will be perfect for your getaway. The campground has 36 individual campsites and four group camps with a sandy swimming beach. The campground is adjacent to Ann Lake and the Ann Lake Day Use Area, which has picnic areas, a sandy swimming beach, panfish fishing, and more than three miles of hiking trails, which are groomed in the winter for cross-county skiing.

Directions: From Zimmerman, take Sherburne Co. 4 (W) 6 mi. to 168th St.; turn left (S)and follow signs 1.5 mi.
