About: This campground offers a variety of opportunities for campers including fishing, hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, boating, and bird watching. Sites sit well above the river. The historic log pavilion was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in 1933 and is available for rent.
Closest Towns: Ely
Restrictions: Maximum of nine people per site. There is space for one vehicle and one towed vehicle (such as a boat trailer). Additional vehicles require additional half fee, and must park on road sides. No ATVs allowed.

Directions: South Kawishiwi Campground is located 10 miles south of Ely off of State Highway 1.
