About: Honcho Rest Campground is located on 1,000 feet of frontage on beautiful, private Bass Lake. We are in between Elk Lake and Lake Michigan, across the street from the Elk Rapids Public Golf Course. Honcho Rest has 102 shaded and partially shaded campsites and also 2 cabins; approximately 50% of campsites are rented to seasonal guests. 95 of our sites have sewer, water, electric, and cable television the remaining 7 are without sewer hookup. On top of that our whole campground is covered by our Wi-Fi wireless internet access.

Directions:
From Grand Rapids, MI: Head North on US-131 N. Turn left at Fife Lake Rd. Turn left at Supply Rd (CR-605). Stay to the Right, continue on Williamsburg Rd. (Cross M-72 onto Elk Lake Rd). Turn right at US-31. Turn right at Ames St (becomes Cairn Hwy). Continue on Cairn Hwy 150 ft to entrance.

From Detroit, MI: Head north on I-75. Continue on I-75 N. Take exit 254 on the left for I-75-BL/M-72 toward Downtown Grayling/Traverse City. Merge onto I-75-BL N. Turn left at M-72. Turn right at M-66 N/M-72 W/US-131 N/S Cedar St. Continue to follow M-66 N/M-72 W/US-131 N. Turn left at M-72 W/Mile Rd. Continue to follow M-72 W. Turn right at Elk Lake Rd. Turn right at US-31. Turn right at Ames St. Continue on Cairn Hwy 150 ft to entrance.
