While you enjoy your relaxing stay at Emporia RV Park, investigate the Flint Hills region of east-central Kansas. Explore part of the five million acres of grassland that encompasses the last undisturbed tallgrass prairie in North America. In the spring and summer you'll be able to spy over 200 kinds of birds, including robins, blue jays, and eagles. You might also see some of the 29 kinds of reptiles and amphibians, including turtles, snakes and armadillos.
