About: Most campsites are near the scenic shore and all feature water and electrical hook-ups. A comfort station with hot showers and a pumping station are nearby. Law enforcement personnel make regular rounds through the park. The nearest location for ice and sundries is in Hartwell about two miles away. The day-use boat ramp will remain open year-round.
Boating, water skiing and fishing at Lake Hartwell are prime reasons to visit this site in northeast Georgia. Large mouth bass, hybrid bass, striper, black crappie, bream, rainbow trout and wall-eyed pike can be found in the sparkling waters of this 55,590-acre reservoir. The day-use boat ramp offers easy access to all water sports.
