About: Idlewild Lodge is located on Lake Panasoffkee, a 4,600 acre lake located just off I-75 in Central Florida. This lake is truly a spring-fed lake that is home to much of Florida’s wildlife. Our guests enjoy catching a variety of fish, including bass, blue gill and shell cracker. Other wildlife can be seen from our banks including alligators, wild turkey, wild boar and an occasional deer. While fishing is prominent at our Lodge, there are many family fun things to do here. Children and adults enjoy swimming in our pool, boating, bike riding and spending time at the marina. Come visit us and see all the family fun and relaxation that Idlewild Lodge has to offer.

Directions:
From the north: Take I-75 to the Wildwood Exit – #329. Turn West off the exit onto 44. Follow 44 approximately 7 miles to CR 470. Turn left onto CR 470. Follow CR 470 to CR 400 at the Idlewild Lodge sign. Turn left onto CR 400. Follow CR 400 to the end bearing left at all forks in the road. CR 400 Will end at Idlewild Lodge.
From the south:Take I-75 to the Sumterville Exit – #321. Turn left off the exit onto CR 476. Turn left at the stop sign onto CR 470. Follow CR 470 approximately 6 miles to CR 400. Turn right onto CR 400. Follow CR 400 to the end bearing left at all forks in the road. CR 400 Will end at Idlewild Lodge.
