About: Providing a getaway to the heart of the Ocala National Forest since the 1930s, the Juniper Springs Campground within Juniper Springs Recreation Area offers 79 deeply shaded spaces within walking distance of some of Florida’s most beautiful springs.

This campground was named one of ReserveAmerica’s Top 100 Family Campgrounds in the United States.

Directions: Juniper Springs Campground is located inside the Juniper Springs Recreation Area. It is along SR 40 between Mill Dam and SR 19, just 9 miles west of Astor and the St. Johns River.
