Boyd Lake State Park has something for everyone: boating, fishing, picnicking, swimming, hiking, biking, and hunting. During the summer we have music concerts Saturday afternoons at the Swim Beach Pavilion.
All types of watercraft: ski boats, fishing boats, jet skis, sailboats, canoes, use Boyd Lake's 1,700 surface-acres of water. Boyd also has a sandy beach and a pavilion (including coffee shop) for swimmers.
If you're looking for first-class camping, check out Boyd Lake! Boyd Lake offers 148 paved pull-through campsites. The sites are located on a grassy knoll dotted with trees near the lake. The easily accessible sites can accommodate tents, pick-up campers, trailers and motor homes. All sites have electric hookups. Each site has a picnic table and grill. Three restrooms with showers, playground equipment and horseshoe pits are scattered throughout the campground. Campers must have a camping permit and a valid parks pass.
