About: Green Ridge is located in north central Colorado just southwest to Grand Lake. The campground is adjacent to Shadow Mountain Reservoir. Elevation is approximately 8,300 feet. The campground has 78 non-electric sites.

Universally accessible sites are available. Frequent afternoon thunder showers can be expected in the summer months.
Due to the mountain pine beetle infestation and hazardous tree removal, there is little to no shade in the campground. As of 2008, 3,000 pine seedlings have been planted to remedy this problem in the future.

The campground is close to a lake, river, and trail opportunities. Loop B is closest to Colorado River. National Fishing Week, the first week in June, is a popular activity.

Fees: Arapaho Nat’l Recreation Area use fee required. $5 daily fee. Annual passes available. Camping fee: single $17, double $34. (2011)
