About: Our campground is just a short walk from Lake Tahoe with over 200 tent sites in two locations nestled in the shelter of towering pine trees. Badger’s Den Campground, located on the lake side of Highway 89; and Eagle’s Nest, across the street from Badger’s Den Campground, offer two tent campground options for the summer visitor. Enjoy Camp Richardson’s full amenities while camping…full-service marina with boat rentals, lakeside restaurant, general store, mountain sports center, ice-cream parlor and coffee & confectionery are all within a short walk. Enjoy the exquisite nature that Lake Tahoe has to offer, just steps from the conveniences of a full resort. No Pets.

Directions:
From Sacramento: Take Highway 50 to South Lake Tahoe. Go straight thru the in-town stoplight onto Highway 89 North (2.5 miles) toward Emerald Bay. You will see Camp Richardson Hotel and Resort signage on your right hand side.
From the Reno area: Take Highway 395 south to Carson City. Exit the freeway at Fairviiew Drive west, turn left at the stoplight at South Carson Street (Hwy. 395), go south 2 miles and bear right (west) at Highway 50 toward Lake Tahoe. Continue on Highway 50 27 miles, all the way through South Lake Tahoe to the stoplight at the “Y”, and go right onto Highway 89 North (2.5 miles) toward Emerald Bay. You will see Camp Richardson Hotel and Resort signage on your right hand side.
