About: Mt Gate RV Park is located 3 miles south of spectacular Shasta Lake and Bridge Bay Resort, which is famous for its great bass and trout fishing, boating, water skiing and other water sports. Visitors staying with us can enjoy the nearby underground magic of the Shasta Caverns, or take an incredible tour through Shasta Dam, the states largest hydroelectric station and the second tallest dam in the world. Visit Redding’s Turtle Bay Exploration Park and Museum and walk across the only Sundial Bridge in the USA, designed by Santiago Calatrava.
