About: Sunset-Union Valley is located in a ponderosa pine forest at an elevation of 5000 feet. Facilities include 131 family sites, a 30-unit tent camping area, a swimming beach, Fashoda (which is not reservable), a boatramp with an accessible boarding dock, a paved parking area, a dump station, and the Union Valley Bike Trail. A store with gas, ice, and a restaurant is located within 5 miles. Popular activities include sailing, boating, fishing, biking, swimming, and hiking. Sunset Campground
Sunset is the huge campground on Union Valley Reservoir. It sits on the end of the peninsula past Fashoda Campground. In is near the boat ramp. There is also a new shower building nearby so bring some quarters if you want to get cleaned up.
