Sunset Campground (Death Valley National Park)

Location and people set it apart

This may be just another massive gravel RV parking lot but its the little things that make it nice. Sunset is just across the road from the resort where a hot meal, a shower, or a cold beer are readily available. Wifi is also available at the resort (for a fee). The folks that camp here are the nicest lot I've ever encountered (due to this being a national park I suppose). And its reasonably priced at just $12. Be warned though - terrible dust storms can roll through this area with little notice. Be careful about leaving things lying ...

Sparse, but good location

This is just another big gravel RV pad. Just across the road from Furnace Creek Ranch so many amenities are walking distance from the campground.
