Beautiful, peaceful campground with lots of great hiking
This campground is an oasis in the desert. The camp is quiet and the extensive Chiricahua trail system can be accessed directly from camp. The campsites are are only suitable for smaller RV's and low overhead clearance makes tall truck campers unsuitable for some of the sites. This park was the site of a CCC camp and so many of the structures and the elaborate trail system exhibit the exceptional construction techniques typical of the CCC era.
