Pickensville campground
This is the best campground we have stayed at. The sites are large and level with cement pads and shepherd's hook, grills and fire rings. They have several pull throughs. The bath houses are VERY clean and well kept. We enjoyed watching the tug boats and barges traveling up and down the river. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Great food with reasonable prices close by at "Down Yonder" The only problem was the cell phone service. You can get fair service in the open areas at the river edge and in section 1 next to the bath house.
